1965年，麦卡特尼完成了一首歌曲《昨天》（Yesterday），并采纳乔治•马丁的建议，用弦乐四重奏形式来伴奏。很快这首歌就登上了排行榜榜首，而且据统计，至今它的翻唱版本已超过了2500多种，创历史之最。

69年，正当披头士是散是合尚未定论时，70年推出的专辑let itbe瞬间破碎了人们的希望，披头士分道扬镳的时刻不可拒绝地到来了，本来专辑的名字是getback，表达了paul对于整个乐队复合的希望，但残酷的事实难以改变，最后以let itbe取代，顺其自然，简单的几个个，富有哲理，却又充满无奈。

许多人是通过孙燕姿翻唱的hey jude才认识，才了解beatles的，听过原版heyjude以后不禁感到一阵寒意从背后袭来，却又庆幸遇到了beatles。Heyjude是Paul写给Lennon儿子的，当时Lennon准备和妻子离婚同大野洋子厮守，写出此歌来鼓励lennon儿子jude，希望他不要被父母离异而影响。

No.4 Please please me

说到这首歌，我是很有感情的，因为我第一次接触beatles便是从这首歌开始的。大概2年前，我那个学校的外教，叫robert有一天放了两首歌，一首是blue的all rise，另一首就是here comes the sun,还叫我们猜是哪支乐队的，答案就是thebeatles,从自对beatles的喜欢便一发不可收拾。
歌曲中大概讲述的是little darling的爱就像阳光一般，融化了冬天的冰雪，让人感觉心里暖暖的，说到这个，又想到了一部美剧，叫《橘子郡男孩》，和这个有异曲同工之妙。

No.6 In my life

在我生命中，你是最重要的。这首歌还被TOYOTA COROLLA作为广告歌在CCTV上打过阵子广告，不过是翻唱的……

此曲中间那段不知道什么乐器演奏的部分是点睛之笔。

No.7 Norwegian wood

挪威森林，熟悉吧？不要想到伍佰的那首，不是那个，也不是日本村上春树的小说，而是beatles的不朽经典。据说上过少女无数的john有一次泡MM失败之后即写下这首norwegian wood ，其中的this bird hasflown更是表达了他失望的心情。
说多点，这个名字让我想到了神秘园这个乐队(Secret Garden)，这是个很神奇的乐队，里面许多歌你都很熟悉，只是不知道名字罢了，比如说asong from the secret garden，我保证你觉对听过。为什么我会想到这个乐队呢，我也不清楚。

No.8 While my guitar gently weeps

这首歌一直没听懂，但很好听，特别是歌曲最开始的部分。
当我的guitar轻轻的哭泣，那是一种什么样的心情呢？听过便知。

No.9 Imagine

虽然不是beatles的作品，但john的这首歌表达了世界人民对于和平，对于无种族歧视的希望，反映出了构建和谐世界的理想。很好，很强大。唯美的调子让人沉醉。
其中的You may say I’m a dreamer ,but I’m not the only one更是体现了他的决心。

No.10 And I love her
又是一首爱情歌曲，没什么说的，不错，听了便知。
这么多爱情的歌曲，让我难以释怀啊，好想找个MM来爱。呵呵
不过，还是let it be吧。
